How many times have you looked at all the piping and stuff on a CA18 and said "What tha?"

Found a write up that helps heaps for those trying to figure out how to put it all back together - it's for a FWD Pulsar but you'll quickly get the gist

Sleepe made 215kw atw on lpg was was pretty much a standard ca apart from a ka24 throttle body and a set of tomei proncams, Joel's is the ca sedan in the first video and he got converted to lpg after going in my ca18det 120y wagon , people underestimate lpg , its so easy to set up and tune and there is no need to retune when you want to upthe boost, it uses the standard computer for spark and that's it, its definitely a cheaper and easier option

"Its good to know standard ecu can be run without the injector side working" a ecu will work with many outputs not connected! an ecu just needs the inputs to work and all outputs are optional.

Not universally true for all ECUs: "an ecu just needs the inputs to work and all outputs are optional". Some will trigger warnings or limp-home-mode if certain outputs are out of spec (or not connected).

The factory Datsun/Nissan ECUs are good stuff.

demacoz, good information. Added to our CA-Series Engine Swaps article.

We used an impco 200 , with the ecu you only need to power up 2 wires, the one for the coils and the cas wire
