#1 AT THE GOING DOWN OF THE SUN
whoridas_girl Posted on: 2013/4/25 2:06
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

+2 Lest We Forget

Yet go to hell to all these contracted idiots in the Middle East thinking they are doing and comparing themselves to what our diggers did and having them taking time on the idiot box or public speeches to the public on this day. These contracted idiots are un-australian Aholes help the war machine in the sale of weapons and displacing innocent people in Iraq which was a peaceful country with no weapons of mass destruction or agenda to ruin our way of life. Every Iraqi I have met hates what has happened to Saddam Hussein and where very happy to have an iron fist rule and have safety in the streets of a developing country. They cannot return to their country as before.

US figures show more than 60% of employment is directly and indirectly related to the Defence industry. I often have to skip the majority of Ads promoting a military job or training every time I watch a u-toob vid online. Its the same thing low employment rates these ads increase for re-cruiting people to support the industry of destruction and $$ making for the worlds top 1%. If any Gov in the last 40 years spent 5% what we have spent on Defence we could all have free electricity, better hospitals, more jobs, safer streets, better communities and more time to play with our cars.

Contracted idiots are the same scum of Australia just like the mining idiots that come here to pollute our land and change our economy from skilled professionals to idiots that just dig holes. They support an industry that drains our tax dollars to support the 1% of the worlds parasitic monopoly.

Most of the survivors of our past world wars did not get benefits or help from the Gov. We are still paying billions more every year for orders of planes and ships which have not been finished with sky rocketing costs and supporting bogus fight on terrorism while our pensioners cant even walk down the street without fear of assaults by junkies or low life scum.

How sad our diggers would be to know this is the Australia we have let rot thanks to greed and a failed political system that just lets puppets be dictated by corporate interests.

My wife and I volunteer with a group that takes elderly citizens throughout melbourne for outings and social interaction (aged from 85-98 years of age) and so many ladies whose husbands have fought in past wars and have nothing but contempt for our Gov and war industry.

Lest we Forget absolutely and lets rid our current 2 idiot parties in the next election its time for some respect is brought back to this country. Its the least we can do for those that sacrificed themselves in the belief they were protecting our freedom and way of life.

It is good to be passionate but today is a day for reflection and appreciation

What we learn from history ??? Is that we don't learn from history

Btw D, I got a tad lost in your rant. I do agree with some of what you say, but are you saying that I and my fellow serving members contributing to the war effort in Middle East are idiots?

The whole reasoning behind said war is flawed.
Lest we forget.
world war one,
Lots of young guys were fooled into joining the war by Bullshit news stories. Calling the "Daisy Patch" battle as a thrilling charge. The reality was much different. Pretty much every small town in NZ (Including suburbs of cities, which were once considered towns themselves) have a war memorial to the fallen.
Lest we forget, yet look at the wars being waged now. What lessons have been learned? Not many it would seem.
And the same parties are lining their pockets from these wars as the ones past.
Know your enemy. That's the real way to honour the dead.
Banks and lending institutions pose a greater threat to our freedom than standing armies

Why cant people just pay there respects and move on maybe we don't care about peoples paranoid delusions and conspiracy theories, However grounded or ungrounded they are. If you cant pay your respects to those we've lost and those who've lost someone then move on.
