Been welding up rust holes.
1. find a bubble 2. wire brush it till it's all good metal and shock yourself at the hole you just made 3. punch it in a bit 4. gradually work from the outside to the inside and make a mess of the MIG welding 5. clean it up with a grinder and fill a little more 6. rust proof it 7. etch prime it 8. find another tiny little bubble Also since finding a couple of layers of paint decided that the whole car may as well be painted in 2 pack; so the door jams have been stripped to bare metal and etch primed so far. Still more work to do on the bottoms of the rear doors but at least they're protected from rust being etch primed. I'll do all the panels separately on the flat

spent way too much time filling/sanding/filling/sanding gone back to bare - ish metal over the whole exterior now
I was mucking around with the headlining and ripped it ... bother! oh well I was trying to avoid it but it's coming out (ripped further now) and will need a new one. Has anyone had one put in and what did it cost?

Front screen out .... cracked it
Headlining out ... ripped but can be used as a pattern. No steps forwards - 2 backwards At least now I can attack the dints in the roof (looks like it was used as a walking track)

You tube is my friend at the moment.
Watched a few guides on shrinking panels and tried it ... it worked Now I have taken out a few high spots on the roof I can use less bog and more tapping things straight Gotta get a top coat on the shell before the colder weather sets in You can view topic.
