Yeah that rain belted down and the thunder certainly got my attention (that and the dog going nuts!).
I thought I was hard done by when I opened my garage door to find that water and a layer of silt had found it way across most of the floor...looks like you copped it worse David. Where did all the missing corrugated iron end up? P.S. I owe you, so if you need a hand nailing it all back on send me a PM.

Got the shed 're-roofed' (did it myself with new tin and poly sheets). It came up a treat but all my electrical stuff is away getting cleaned (part of the service with the insurance). Now I have to wait for the electrician to do the hoist and switchboard....
So, decided to build another 7m x 8m shed nearer the house; deposit went down today - Kermit will get a new bedroom! Should be up in a couple of months depending on permits and building etc. woohoo

Got another starter motor last week and put it in today. First victory - it cranked over Second Victory (after some 'encouragement fluid') - it fired a few times. woo hooooooo ! Wouldn't keep going though. The fuel pump is not working properly..... IT SUCKS BUT IT WONT BLOW .... should I replace the pump or is there an easy fix? this is the encouragement fluid Attach file: 13168.jpg (22.25 KB)![]()

Easy fix, replace the filter (will only fix a clogged filter). I had an EFI car stop running due to clogged filter. I drained the filter on the side of the road and was able to drive it home, then I replaced the filter and it started running perfect

It's already a new filter.
I pulled the fuel pump apart gave it a bit of a clean and blow out with air. Put it back together again and it seemed to suck and blow right with manually operating it but when I put it back on the car and cranked it over nothing came out the outlet pipe. It was doing something strange ... the fuel level in the filter seemed to be bubbling up and down. YES the pipes are right for inlet and outlet - I checked Any help appreciated .... it did work (4 years ago) You can view topic.
