Re-manufactured front panel
I bought one from Old Skool in Melbourne (Thomastown) and it needs some adjustments to fit the sedan. It would fit better on a ute I suspect 1. The passenger side top flap needs to be flattened off as shown 2. The tabs for the plastic style grill should be removed (there's 4 tabs - only 2 in my pic but you get the idea) 3. You need to make up and put on some tabs to fit the metal grill (I will document this when I do it See the pics below

Great progress David. Looks like that spot welder will come in handy!
2k good idea for the engine bay. The 2k high fill primer/surfacer goes on quiet easily and is easy to sand you just need quite a big tip on your gun to spray it as it's quite thick (e.g. 2mm).

Engine bay is in etch primer.
next the 2k primer / filler . doing the radiator support panel separately and will assemble just before top coats You can view topic.
