Nice build thread! Great photos.

Boot rubber on - glued the two top corners and where the ends meet near the latch.

Is that what everyone else does?
Yes

I noticed what seems to be a drain hole along the top near the corners and figured that it should not be blocked.
I've never noticed any drain hole near the boot weatherstrip. The water runs out to the side, then down the sides, and drips onto the rear panel. You certainly don't want water running into the boot.

Well you certainly didn't waste any time getting back into it.
Hope you remembered to blow the wife a kiss on the way to the shed when you arrived back from Canberra!

Not quite. But need to get a wriggle on to get two projects done before Andrew finishes just one. By the way do you have a rear screen spare?

Not sure which Dave is having the biggest dig at me

Anyway, all I can say is I hope Kermits ready for the Mordy BBQ bash....as you'll need to
Pick me up on the way through!

Truthfully I still am hoping that my ute might be road ready by then. Depends on what issues the tuner uncovers.....but no way I can afford the exterior paint job yet, so will still be a work in progress.

Got on to a Rear Screen on eBay. Hopefully pick it up in 3 weeks. In the meantime I have done some respray touch ups and need to spend some time in the shed sanding and polishing.

I made a new door card from MDF and am painting the driveshaft... all bit 'n' pieces till I get the courage up to see if it fires up after the engine rebuild 18 months ago

I do have a small problem - I misplaced all my door, boot and petrol cap locks (I had a bag with about a dozen in a bag). Now need to either rip the shed apart for the third time in a vain attempt to find them or bite the bullet and source another set.

Anyone got a set of 4 they don't need? (I have the ignition one)
would prefer all keyed alike.
I know EBay has door locks but can find boot or petrol cap on there

anyway we have a long weekend here in Aus so maybe I'll get time to do this instead of the jobs on my wife's list.

David

Edit; Found locks .... and single Key to rule them all
