They test it here at 4500 rpm.

snarls ? do you mean on the backoff? - that's when the needle went way over on mine before the resonator was inserted

I think it is under 96 db. But I just replaced the manifold and did not have the air filters on it. When it hits 6000 RPM it snarls, and gets quite a bit louder. I will put the filters back on.

You bad boy... You need a spanking dd.

In Australia you could be defected for that and require your car to be sent to EPA for sound and or emissions testing. 89 db for most cars, pre 1986 is 96DB lol.

Policeman pulled me over tonight. He said the cannon muffler was illegal. When I said it also had a regular muffler underneath he said OK, but keep the speed down.
