Pay the $60... I like pros to do my brakes usually too. It's the only thing that's stopping you hit stuff

I guess I'd pay someone else as well if I hadn't done them before it's easy to say have a go( my bad) I'm just used to doing them is all, but with brakes it's a bit different to doing a oil and filter change.

Did you wash the bores with soapy water and/or use high pressure wash?

I used degreaser and a pressure washer to wash down the block where it was to be painted. I also throughly washed out the water galleries. I did avoid the bores though. I did give the bores a wipe out and I've re oiled the bores and face for now to prevent rust.
When I go to assemble it, I'll give it a full wash down with the soapy water. Shouldn't effect the already painted surface.

Are you going for the A12 crank or A14 hybrid internals?

Certainly is a "Buffalo" manifold that I will be using. Not sure exactly who made it but it was sourced a few years ago from a South African seller.
