Hi guys I have been trying to chase a brand new genuine alternator with no luck.Although I have found a company call Amayama trading and they sell them,now they are 1k out off JAPAN or $500 out off UAE(United Arabe Emerites).Would they be genuine from there?

Hey mate already done that they want $450 so would rather a genuine one for $50 more.

that's a crazy price for an alternator, wouldn't it be cheaper to get one from a wreckers - even if you had to get it refurbished at an auto electrician ?

Already checked that out $300 to get it reconditioned plus $100 from wreckers for the alt,then they cant recondition certain parts as they cant get them.
