I dont get the hole big wheels on the back, with smaller wheels on the front looks bloody stupid, this would look a million times better with some 15in convo pro's or something like that.

The build quality is rarely at question no doubt it is nicely executed excellent quality but the look at me wheels like that deserve a wtf chuckle even from ADM bogons sucked into American Hotrod turd brushed efforts.

Its actually easier to go big overdone everything with anything from a modern common catalogue than to balance something so it looks apt.

There are plenty of people that are able, but few that can pull off timeless statements to new and old. Abarth or even the original Japanese designer would look at this and just shake their head to avoid nausea.

This is just stuffing ridiculously big wheels under it for its own sake. They don't suit it. They're out of proportion. They won't help it handle better or go better. First vette effort is exactly the sample I was referring to, look at the grille nothing off the shelf. For further case studies of where mod stock originated from you cant go past salt lake racing scene instead of the usual hot rod scene where you get too many brand oriented rednecks and off the shelf shoppers rather than black smiths. In Salt lake racing its all done mainly for speed to anything and everything, but there is also a tradition of respecting its heritage not just from the rules but the incredible diversity of historical appreciation of all that have come, gone and still going - that has a culture and religion on its own.

The Swedes and other Europeans seem to be a step ahead in the resto-mod scene but Euro industrial design lends itself more due to its roots aimed at function rather than styling. Japanese cars take some effort but plenty of Japanese based samples to get some inspiration from and also Ratsun has some talented artists.
