165 is healthy. as already mentioned, give the stem seals a look. may even be a dodgy PCV valve.

hi, done a compressing test all 165 , if I have to change oil rings can you buy the oil rings only and where?? any body would know. thanks

Valve stem seals usualy at idle or on take off. Rings usually at revs as far as I know

when idling very little but when I rev it up it blows a lot more blue smoke would it possible be only valve stems seals??

Rings may not have bedded in correctly since the rebuild leading to excessive oil on the bores resulting in burning and blue smoke.

Congrats on solving the backfiring problem.

Blowing blue smoke ... ensure the oil level is not overfull. Otherwise most likely the engine needs an overhaul.

checked all plug gaps and cleaned and checked points and timing that stop that stopped the back firing, now when it idles its up and down and blows blue smoke, I try to adjust carb to lean still change

I just had a prob like that and it turned out to be a fouled plug. Idled fine but misfired on acceleration. Cleaned and reset plugs ad all fine
