Woohoo!

Wasn't too bad really, there's certainly uglier cars out there.

Looks ok to me too. In a way, I kind of like the idea that the name is coming back and seeming to focus on the smaller cars. That's been one of the strengths of the marque even years before I (or 90% of us for that matter) were even born!

I hope they look into a rally inspired version with sr20ve powering it or something similar, and upgraded wheels and suspension. Could be interesting.

Only sad thing is that I just googled to see what other sites were mentioning it and an australia motoring mag had comments from Nissan Australia's chief PR guy saying that it won't be available in Australia, citing the fact there's already very affordable small nissans available here to fill that market.

Just another new car, they all look the same.

I reckon its horrible.
Resurrecting the Datsun name to sell cheap as #OOPS# cars, should leave Datsun alone and make up a new brand to sell the piss weak cars under.

What do you think Datsun was when it originally came to Australia?

Do you think they built high quality sports cars?

This is just history repeating, unfortunately these ones won't pass ADR's but like Nissan said... we already sell them...

Datsun's were the cheap economy cars, we just love them cause they were the lightest car available and you can add power to handling but not handling to power

sure ours were el cheapo cars back in the day too
but ours had style, not like these hacks
