$35 a pair for 6 pieces of metal. then add on welding costs, cleaning/prep, prime, paint or powdercoating, and shipping/handling costs

Is anyone still interested in these strut top ends. i havr sent my 3 pice drawing to a laser cutter and git quoted 350 aud for 20 strut tops, in three milimeter mild steel (local australian shop). they would need to be welded together and painted still. i could have a try at welding them. i have access to a gasless mig welder. sorry for the bad spelling. typing on my phone.

i'm happy for the files to be posted here on the 1200.com forum for anyone who wants them.
maybe see if David (dd) has somewhere he can upload them or somewhere they can go as a sticky or easy to find file ?

OK, I have found the DWG files for the boofhead strut tops.
If boofhead wants them am happy to send to him and he can distribute as he see's fit, that way IP is respected..

It's just for looks right? Unless you're doing jumps which I don't plan to. I'd imagine the type that cross braces the firewall would add some torsional rigidity.
