Sighhhhhh.......

As I pulled up the carpet and mat on the Guacamobile to put the new seats in...see most recent post to "comfy seat suggestions"...I noticed that my floor was gone. Just carpet and mat. I could quite easily see the ground beneath the car (as opposed to the wind beneath my wings, but that's another story...)

A little rust, some undercoating, and about a dollar in loose change....

So, it's time to pull out the old wire-feed MIG welder and fire it up.

Some days I just want to sell the little critter....anybody interested?

How much?
When can I pick it up?
What's the nearest airport to you?
But seriously, don't get discouraged. That is an easy fix and you'd be sad if you got rid of it. Now wouldn't you?

Actually, the one car that I really regret selling was my 1970 Datsun Fairlady 1600....Man I loved that car. Talk about a chick magnet!!

(My brother had a 1968 2000, with dual solex's and a race cam--now that was a fun car....he had just finished restoring it and drove it home one night and a carload of drunk girls ran a stop sign and broadsided him...totalled the poor car. Quite sad....)

Anyhoo....I still am trying to decide what to do with the car. Keep? Sell? I don't know.
