geez D i thought you guys had seen all this on speedhunters.I see s/one has given you a link. I was reading the write up and saw 09racing shop was the supplier so i clicked on it cos it was h/lighted and it popped up.The ute at the show looks nice --all i would use is the bonnet grille, surrounds and fenders. If you in oz usa or rsa you can get the rest local. eg. steering, seats, your own dash and guages plus the aero catches at the rear. OOOH two more things i'd buy w/arch goodies and the grille badge-- i think that one is gbr. Just think of all the nosey questions u will get.

I saw it before speedhunters on jap mag but wasnt that convinced initially as it looked to have to many modern finishes but would actually dig it providing it has some serious performance to back up its race looks like either a punchy and responsive turbo or NA A15 or triple mikuni 9000rpm L20 6 cylinder.

I can get a hold of an L20 L6 but a straight 6 into a 1200 would be a mission without cutting the firewall or without extending the front a tad. Since like many 1200 utes are never used as actual "utes" using payloads and they are more for performance and looks it wouldnt be out of line for a hakosuka gbr 1200 to be fitted with a rear mounted slanted A series using subey or audi fwd lsd box or vq35 with tbs.

D,
Funny how in japan they have access to all those engines yet most prefer to keep their
"worked" A12s in their 1200s(this hakosuka gbr included).
and this is not only with 1200s.most of the oldskool cars in japan run their original engines but worked.

I love this kit so much but just struggling to justify the price...
bonnet etc and guards I get the cost but dont understand why the light bezels are $1643 AUD?

do you guys reckon you could make something like this yourself?
I was wondering, chop up/mod old bonnet, maybe tweak datto 1600 lights?

worth trying vs $7500
even if you figure out the rest and just bought the bonnet...

I contacted them shipping the face lift kit to Perth is 56 600 Yen ~ $632 AUD

I wanna do it to the 2dr not my ute
