Hey guys long time no post. sad days not owning a B series datsun these days but I'm still lurking the forum from time to time.
i just have a quick question regarding diff centres and ratios
iv been reading the wiki trying to answer my own question but can't
a friend of mine has a H150 diff in his car (b310) and wants to run a 4.11 ratio or higher and I'm just wondering how to go about that. could i get a h145 centre into a h150 housing?
or would it just be easier to put a h165 ute diff in the sunny?
thanks Casey

Easiest to bolt the H145 in the H150 housing. It will also require lengthening the driveshaft. But the H145 is marginal strength for an A14 engine.
Fitting the ute H165 rear axle assembly means grinding off the Sunny brackets and welding them onto the ute housing. Better if you can find an S110 housing (H165 or H190) which is a bolt-in swap to the B310 Sunny.
