Ive got to repair a handbrake handle.

1 has a broken button, the other has a broken grip.

is it possible to take the grip from one to put on the other?

I cant seem to locate a grub screw etc.. is it possible?

sorry for the stupid question... but its annoying me now.

Cheers

Ed

You can buy new handbrake grips as I just bought 2 through Nissan.
They were to suit 120y, but I reckon 1200's are the same.

Thanks for the advice guys..

will keep trying to slide it off in that case... just sounds like it wants to crack!

good to know Nissan has some too. that will be Plan B.

Cheers

Grip slides on with a friction fit. To remove it, use a block of wood and a hammer and tap it off. Yeah, it might crack -- being 45 years old
