#1 Dash Removal
mrbarista Posted on: 2013/10/2 12:24
Anyone else had to deal with threaded screws on the top of the dash? Ive got two :(
Looks like a previous owner has had a crack at them with no luck.
i tried with little bent screw drivers, wd40, rubber bands, flat heads and a couple of other combinations with no luck.
Also the screws holding the heater controls are tight as fark.

If its only 1 left just chisel it off or dremel it. They are crap screws. The heater ones on one I had were glued in... I had to drill them out.

Its definitely easier with the windscreen out but dont resort to that. Try a 90 degree bent shallow screwdriver

I use a screwdriver bit and a combo wrench to turn it.
