Outstanding effort well done. But there are easier alternatives like a Nissan SR16VE 170HP standard.

There are always easier alternatives to anything in life but thats just it....

Some will take the easy road,
some the road less traveled,
This man carved a new Road!
A series with B series head.

A series with B series head update

Just spoke to the super tinkerer, the engine leaks no oil or has any issues so far just awaiting for final computer tuning and is fine about me making this list and also traveling to see him for a tech write-up (near yarrawonga so could make it a road trip with Melb members and even share one night there) so if you like to help out (he is doing a second one OHC 8v AY alternative) he in return will happily reveal the ins and outs to help those interested in making their own A-B16 :) so please PM me to keep this thread clean with respect to his efforts and those who have already shown interest in converting their A series into this amazing Hybrid.

Saw this today. Nice unit. I think you may be overcomplicating it slightly d with the water pump etc.
Even a davies craig elec pump would do it.

Its a great effort that a lot of folks didnt notice.
The front plates for the pulleys etc and water outlet looked like steel plates which are good. So use the kiss principle on this one dave.
It works and looks like it would fine. Good to meet you rob? Or rod? Sorry im bad with names.
