I'm not a fan of swede-spec... much prefer jdm, classic restored and period modified looks, not to mention good competition cars.

There's obviously some good workmanship in the car, but the concept and execution of a few major things does nothing for me, aside from the bling wheels, loud paint and cream/white pleather interior. The tailights are out of place and make the back end look awkard/ungainly. The flat dash doesn't look like alot of thought or effort went into it - just a couple of folds... I've seen a more complex shaped and better looking sheetmetal dash in a local track 1200. And the grill that doesn't suit the car at all, and has only one thing going for it - it's shiney... To me it's just doing mods for the sake of it, not paying any real attention to what looks good or emphasises the car's style or lines. But each to their own.

Im with datrotor with the jdm and classic style im just not into it,i just don't like the 13" wheels with stretched tyres look but saying that respect the choice that other Datsun fanatics make with their ride. Each to own.

Yes I understand........ the same situation applies to your audience. You might get one of the best 1200's but it won't be the best, simply because of the people's choice. So I guess it's more fitting that you generalised the title a little more.

Your styling is comparatively new. The other styles have been around for some decades now.

The Mazda/Datsun cross breeding is interesting but I'm a staunch classic fan, so it confuses me.

too many to name... im always impressed at datsun day how great some of the SHOW cars are there... plus everyones tastes are different.
I think to be considered it has to still be a datsun body, and datsun/nissan motor which doesnt go with what ive done with my ute (not that i would consider it the best by far), but its an important criteria if your considering a car to be the best of a particular brand.
