Hey Guys,
Looking at selling my 1200 ute in order to buy a 1200 sedan that can actually house my 6'2" body.
Has a CA20E conversion with a torana banjo diff.
Stanza struts with skyline shocks and height adjustable coils and camber tops, rear springs reset 50mm lower and 1 inch blocks added with pedders shock absorbers.
Commodore calipers at the front and the torana drum brakes in the rear.
Bare metal respray done in mazda sunlight silver about 5 years ago including door jams etc, only the engine bay left in previous dark blue. Maddat hardlid fitted and painted at the same. car has done no more than 5000 miles since this, still immaculate, few paint chips mainly behind front wheels at the bottom of the quarter from running semis with a lot of camber.
front bar rechromed.
Currently has Sparco Sprint V bucket seats with custom rails but i'd prefer to keep them for the next car.
High end stereo with 2 6" speakers up front, 10" slimline sub underneath drivers seat and amp under passengers. head deck with usb, 3.5mm and cd (can get more info on the stereo later). also installed was an alarm/remote locking system.

Car is fully engineered in NSW and was last registered a couple of years ago, i'm pretty sure the only thing not mentioned in the certificate is the 13" wheels.
Currently the diff centre has been welded locked and an axle subsequently broken, i have been quoted $250 in labor to get a new axle shortened, haven't tried to find an axle to be shortened or a new centre, i've actually already bought a new diff to put into before deciding i should get something with more room to get more serious at the track, this was fine for me on the street but not quite enought room for the 2 track days i did in it (car never overheated, brakes never faded or anything, short of being a little underpowered it was a great car on the track, just needed a panhard bar to stop the rear floating around so much.)
Standard 1200 diff included in the sale if wanted.

I think that's about everything, feel free to ask me any questions public or private, send me a pm or email to get my number or to arrange any viewing.

Chasing $14,000
interested in any 1200 sedan 2dr or 4dr swap preferably with a good body but otherwise relatively standard mechanicals. Car is yet to be listed elsewhere, I'm in no rush to sell it really, would like to see it go to a good home.

The buyer should note this is a really nice car with a ca20 they are recently been reconsidered for big bore CA builds as they are thicker cast around the bores than previously thought, the rods can be replaced with 4g63 mk1 and twin cam head and mains girdle added for the boost factor. The 8v head is hemi with twin spark plugs and If staying NA there is a simple way to activate the secondary spark plug above 4000rpm its on the s12 forums also camshaft regrind make a world of difference along with headers.

D makes a good point! it's already got the suspension and brakes to take the power, i'd recommend upgrading to a better diff with a panhard bar but otherwise you'd have a quick little ute!

Just another note the Poms have the ca18et and swap for the ca20 block using the 8v head and 4g63 rods they boost theirs over 320hp reliably. 8v hemi simple and made for boost.
