Frankenwagon never fails to amaze me, my wife's ability to drive it well that's a little different she has driven many hp v8's but this little wagons quite different and so is the power delivery.....
So it's getting it's nut's cut........
"WHY" the little wagon is becoming a second daily for the family,

Is this the end of "Frankenwagon" nope just another stage, It's been fun and challenging it has also allowed me to gain much more experience , that has helped tremendously with my little business

Cheers for all the interest guys and thankyou !

Ok Chaps
I will be unbolting the compound turbo setup from frankenwagon towards the end of this week maybe next,so it's up for sale!

I will include:
all pipe work ,
oil feeds and drains
turbos,
carby hat,
dump pipe
Two external 38mm waste gates

No carby as it has been boost ref and built to suit e85 at 500cfm 2 barrel you will require a 350 holley or smaller for 98,I can help boost ref your (350) carb if needed

if you need to see it operating or any further questions do so before I pull it down......

cheers anthony

It's hard enough to drive watching the wide band sensor let alone film with my phone,
Maybe if I catch up with nick before it's stripped down I'll get him to film something
Idea of performance :
the bottom end is the same as before heads were swapped (still round port) with carb and turbo to compare the two The motor is stronger and making more power on 7psi than 16-19 psi in the previous set up!
Compounds were the only way to get around the fact that no supplier can make a stall convertor for the A series jatco
The rpm stall is far to low to give a shot of nos without bending rods,so that's were it is you need to try and achieve torque low down with a small turbo but allow it to breath up top without creating high heat and compressor surge.

The new setup needs to make the cars power more predictable for my wife to judge, and not something that wants to put you in the pole on a damp road at 80kmh just tapping the throttle changing lanes.

the fact we want it on the road as a daily i requires a whole new setup and a way of thinking because I still want this car to see track duties.

To be clear you can run this as sequential turbos or compounds it depends on how you plump the external gates !

Cheers anthony

Quick update :

Most of the fabrication is done , hopefully I will have the 2" mandrel exhaust finished this week to see how it performs with the supercharger and extractors

Cheers Anthony
