welch plug in the back of the block, probably leaks as the coolant system heats up and expands, pull the motor and replace all your welch plugs because the rest wont be too far behind
cheers anthony

There's a coolant welch plug back there. Could be that.

Any coolant stains back there? You should be able to see the white stains. Is the heater outlet at back of head leaking from head?

as unfamilia said heater outlet, block welch plug (not cam plug)head welch plug or head gasket at the back of the block is the drip central or to one side, perhaps run some coolant in the water to help trace it

There is a welch plug on the back of the block. You
can't see it until the FLYWHEEL is removed.

There should also be a heater tap in the back of the head with a heater hose running to it unless someone bypassed your heating system.

coolant leaking out between gear box and engine
I have same problem(a15 though) but there is oil mixed in. Was thinkin it could be gearbox main bearing. Only leaks 50-100mls of each when parked. You can view topic.
