A clogged fuel filter can cause that. So can other things.

my car recently wont run properly, im not sure why but it starts without the choke engaged
there is no ignition light and no oil light when i put my foot down on the accel or drop it into 1st and release runs very sluggish and dies out no spark? im up for any advice at the moment im so stuck with my car.. and i need it for work
