Farking lol. It's published on his greenie website, 'shrinkthatfootprint' which is all about - wait for it, ways to shrink your carbon footprint! Quote: Shrink That Footprint is an independent research group devoted to helping people concerned about climate change understand, calculate and reduce their carbon footprints. If they have a bias, it's not towards "big oil" The "sad redneck" who wrote it has an Economics degree from UCL, has worked as an energy efficiency analyst at BNEF - which is all about the transformation of the energy sector towards renewable energy, and is a professional data analyst. But you rubbish his data based on a laughably incorrect assumption, after obviously not even bothering to read the most basic information about anything you're talking about. And what - because the UK's Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs are 'failing to get to grips with farming red tape' according to one farmer in the illustrious Western Daily Press, who's lead 'News' story atm is "Man versus shark: Fisherman to hunt massive man-eating shark heading for UK"... that makes their data on international electricity emissions dodgy??? Not to mention "a Banker controlled farce much like the Royal Family since the days of Napoleon defeat at Waterloo when Rothchilds took over the Bank of England and control of the Brittish Isles" What did I say about reasoning with hippie conspiracy theorists? Crazy royal family conspiracy theory rant at clouds outta nowhere!!! Since the days of farking Napolean, no less! ffs

Have you ever though there are pretend greenies or did it scape past the redness of your neck?
no consipiracy just try not to trust Governments even the UK BS DEFRA based beurocrats that are controlled by big business and banking, your world is more complicated outside your scope of security than you are led to believe. However if saying its all a conspiracy and you sleep well at night with your brainwashed existence then so be it, your education of reality is limited.

you're a raving loonie. The report is encouraging the adoption of EVs in places with low-carbon power and the report showing in the majority of countries EVs are as good or better than efficient ICE and hybrids.
It's just that in places like India, China and Australia, they make no sense due to our dirty electricity grid. If anything he's encouraging cleaner electricity production. But you've got your head too far up your arse to see/read any of it! Equivalent Petrol Car Emissions of Electric Vehicles: ![]()

Labeling me a greenie in my eyes is stereotypical tabloid zombie stuff so glad to leave that there if you dont mind or we continue the bickering. I did see that report and agree on what you are saying but only to a point. The change needs to happen even in dirty grid countries along with the adoption of clean/sustainable energy production like in Spain using Solar Thermal plants. If we just rely on ICE vehicles then change will only happen at the last moment while South Australia is a perfect example of what dirty Coal does to the population with the highest lung cancer rate in Australia. If we adopt EVs then the next problem is tackling the energy grid and that would happen very quickly once EVs are accepted.
I see most new money Australian residents driving SUVs of the BMW, Audi or Benz type these days in the metro areas and they will continue to do so unless we make a larger move towards cars like the Leaf, Tesla and other niche EV cars. They are not perfect but mass adoption creates change that filters in all areas of industry. On a different note as much as I didnt like Hybrid Toyotas bought all over the place, I do respect the change in direction they took instead of just building another German engine clone or true and tried ice burner.

Maybe everyone should just go back to 1200 sedans, coupe's and utes again and I bet they would all be happier :)

A scaled up bike sequential gearbox with that 40kg 3 cylinder 1.4L turbo motor someone posted up would do me fine :)
