Looks like I'm outta luck finding an original second hand unit so I'm looking at these items on ebay:

Datsun 1200 reproduction windscreen

Anyone bought one of these and can offer any feedback on fitment and quality?

Do they have that dark shading all the way round the perimeter or is that just the genetic photo?

Yeah mate there fine.i got this same 1 from there shop fits sweet and exactly like the pic.deffenetly way worth the little cash there asking

Good to hear as this was the one I was going to buy. I like the idea of the black band around the edge..looks a little more modern and hides the edges of dash and A-pillars for a more tidy look.

Yeah, I'm not sure if I'm keen on the shading around the perimeter. But if it's all there is them that'll do.

Can you gents kindly upload a pic? I'm not sure about the black shadow perimeter but it is probably nothing once fitted.

Here's mine

windscreens for sedan/ute are available through most windscreen places such as windscreen Obrien without the black perimeter but they do have the sunshade at the top getting one without the sunshade will be difficult

Don't use an original second hand screen.
They are not shatter proof like newer screens
