you can sleeve down an a14 from 76 to 73mm and use the stock a14 77mm stroke crank at worst?

The A13 was made for; be year only, the 1974 model year (from May 1973). Which means they are not plentiful.

Keep watching eBay and searching Google for Craigslist ads. I see an A13 about one a year.

Or fit an A14. Its a direct replacement.

Another option is to buy a 1974 B210, remove the engine and sell the rest of the car for $100 scrap.

I agree .Issue I have is the racing rules the engine has to less than 1340cc at manufacture.Hence am wanting longer stroke and con rod for Torque advantage on dirt .Seems A13 acute to US.Canada only one year 1974.I am in New Zealand.

It is a cubic inch advantage compared to A12.

There is a small torque advantage compared to normal Asia-market A13.

Currently using A12 70 mm stroke 78mm bore = 0.100 to water. 500 lift cam.CP Custom pistons 13.5 cr,Have had to relieve block to get exhaust valve in.My theory is at this compression ratio with 7mm longer stroke longer con rod will increase tdc dwell time to get a better bang on the Methanol. The short stroke engines tried here havent had enough torque of the turns ie Fiats, 4k etc. I Currently rev to 7800.We are 0.5 secs of the E13 pace that are pulling 9500 rpm. Your thoughts appreciated.
Cheers Tony

7800 vs 9500 rpm and only 0.5 secs off awesome A12/13! A14 crank is all you need in sleeved down A12 block, I agree PJZ has the A14 and heaps of what you need.

I should be able to find crank here.I have shipping agent here ect. I know its a big call to find one but if dont ask wont get.At the end of the day I wish to exhaust the absoulte an A series can give rather than give up.After spending over $5000 on Cyl head development you would all understand.
