From memory I think the pre 72 model had the "R" series engine. Yours would have the "J"series engine in it. I had one on the farm about 15 years ago and put a holden 186 in it. Much better than the J.

Parts are still available. It will cost you $800-2000 to rebuild the motor. Depending on the rebuild.

Much would it cost to rebuild the motor? Some body has one for sale $1000 I think its a bit to much$.
