That does look cleaner!. My Cam cover has a gasket. The hardest thing was making sure that the timing marks were in the right place. I don't have a heater and I got tired of that outlet pipe disitegrating, so I turned a new one out of 316 stainless....

Love the removable front cover made from another front cover for the timing case!
Is it stepped underneath or just using a sealant/ gasket etc.?

Also if you have a heater this can be done neater than I did but just wanted to
prove to myself it worked and looked cleaner than sitting on the inner guard.
The heater pipe return was cut and reversed so the heater line runs under the
exhaust and inlet hidden away from view.

Thanks D!
The front of the engine isn't leaking.. Back of the motor, and the front of the gearbox is..

Probably best try the seal sleeve on the front and see if it cures it before taking the engine out, that way at least you know the front seal doesnt work then you pull the engine out to check the crank and go from there etc.

Im still waiting for some bigger pics of that beast the best coupe on this forum and universe

Yes thanks, I've already got one. I just want to verify that this is the problem. The stupid engine's already been out twice now for inspection. I want to make sure that this is the last time.
P.S. Thanks for the info DD!
