I'm running federal 595rsr 195/50/15's atm will see how they hold up, also have some ku36's as spares so will try them out too

Just read through ur original build thread and this one and u have done some magic work on this, I hope it all holds together for u so u can give it a good hiding out there and enjoy the fruits of ur labour. What tread will u be running on it?

I'm hoping so as every time I raced it with the h165 I broke the spider gears, gotta break her all in and get back to the track to sort the last few problems then have lots of fun!

But of an update.

Fitted cometic 1.3mm MLS gasket kit, arp studs, gt2860rs, new piping, deleted butterfly's from inlet.
Fitted a new 3.9 r31 shortened diff and lsd, new thick wall tailshaft, reco'd gearbox, custom clutch.
Retuning to 20psi aiming for 250+kW

That would explain it. A stock A15 clutch is 800 pounds.

It currently has 360nm of torque, I spoke with my parts supplier to purchase it as he is a sponsor and they were well aware that this was a start tune and the car has a lot more potential and assured us that this will suit it, it's ment to be a custom unit but I'm lead to believe it's a standard "800lb" clamping force not the type we require :( so have been waiting a week for a response to see what there supplier says

Giving a HP figure for a clutch is just guessing on the part of the supplier. Clutches are rated for torque. 300 HP at 7000 rpm is a lot less torque than 300 HP at 5000 rpm.

Put a reco r30 box in and seems good, just having problems with my new exceady clutch slipping :( waiting to find out what clutch supplier is going to do as it won't hold anywhere near the power levels they were told 😡
