that steerbox looks good indeed...i did mine using a mild steel bracket, not into the looks but it works fine..

hi guys.
im getting the a14 twin su manifold (only) as for the carburetor , now i have flat tops with IMS and dome top both from L engine.
so now, which is simple to tune and good choice for a15 engine???
please advice.

Most FlatTops seen for sale already have the anti-pollution stuff removed.
* DomeTops are easiest to adjust * FlatTops give a superior air-fuel adjustment
Whichever you use, the spring may need to be changed. The larger engines use a heavier spring. Try it and see how it works. They should run fine on an A15 using the stock L-series parts.

hi guys.
when im comparing my flat and dome top carbs, i found the flat top bottom part and accessories in very good shape compare to dome top.
so, shall i merge flat top bottom part and dome top chamber&piston and seal the ims??
does it perform same as using full dome top carburetor?
or any other suggestion?

The flat tops are the superior performers. Put them on and try it. The large 46mm flat tops from 240Z are the ones that have troubles, while 38mm versions are good.
Of course the needle jet varies. Try it and see how it runs on your engine.
