Exactly, you can tell because it is a small regular oval port with no water galleys at the manifold face.
Attached is a picture of what a real GX head looks like. This is a New Old Stock unit. See the writing on the top? No numbers. You need to stop the misinformation, whoever is telling you that it is an A14GX engine has no idea what they are talking about. You have an A14T engine, far from an A12GX.

If you still dont believe its a A14gx engine then well something must be wrong This engine is not a GX because: - It is an A14 and the A12GX was an A12. - It hasn't got the twin outlet exhaust manifold and is fitted with the A14T exhaust manifold (regular manifold). - It does not have the big port GX Head, it is fitted with a big port gasket but you can see the small oval ports if you look carefully. There are also no visible water galleys. - It is not fitted with GX carburettors, it is fitted with A14T carbs which has a four stud manifold flange and tri bolt pattern on the air cleaner side. The inlet manifold also has the two elongated mounts on the front foremost carburettor mount. - The carburettors feature an auto choke and emissions gear which came on the A14T - The distributor is mounted midway which further clarifies the engine having no GX-era relevance. I understand that you see two hitachi carburettors and decidedly claim the engine as a GX series but that's not how it works. You will also find that the twin Hitachis that you have fitted are also found on the L-series engines which makes them worth next to nothing without the manifold. You can view topic.
