A friend of mine had a blown A15 engine in a 1981 210 and I gave him a A14 engine from a 1976 B210 that I wasn't using. He call me up to tell me that it doesn't fit. The oil pan and sump is different and hits the bottom, he is telling me. I'm going over there in a little bit to see what's up. I thought they were a direct swap? (For some unknown reason he junked the original with the oil pan and sump.) Why doesn't it fit?

The oil pans are different. Simple solution is to swap the oil pans and pickup tubes. And yes they will interchange.

Call me if you need an oil pan and pickup tube for the 1981 Nissan 210. (I have them here.) Peter
