Positive camber after lowering

Hey all, I've just put lowered king springs in my b310 sunny
The rears are perfect, but the front is sitting about 10 mm higher than before, and there a few degrees positive camber. I've checked part numbers and made sure they are seated properly. Is this a common problem?
Do i need camber tops?
Any help appreciated

Common issue. King springs use the same part number for stanza and 120y too afaik.

They should settle after a bit of use

Cool thanks, what is the remedy? I've done about 50kms. And the outside edges of the tyres are totally bald.

There are 2 ways around this problem. The first is to use shorter 1200 springs instead of Sunny ones. they are the same diameter & rating, but the 1200 has shorter springs which will lower the ride height & remove the positive camber. The second is to use Stanza ball joints. These are longer than the Sunny ones, which will increase the track & change the angle the strut sits at, hopefully enough to get rid of the camber. The ball joints would be the cheaper fix so would be the first thing I'd try. Don't try cutting the spring or heating it to compact it. hope this helps with fixing your problem.

Would it be possible to get a late model Nissan Micra, fit the 1.8 litre motor from a Tiida & then turbocharged it? Your answer must include parts numbers for the conversion. You have 12 months. Commence.

there is a couple things that have not been mentioned as you have lowered it.

What steering knuckles do you have in the car? as the normal ones once lowers are not long enough and once the LCA is low it puts out your roll centre
and check out your lower control arm if the arm is near horizonal the issue is your roll centre is not what it should be..

There is a couple fixes if its got positive camber put in 200b/stanza knuckles they are longer and will fix the roll centre or you can purchase some Roll centre adjusters (RCA) or bump steer spacers. or use stanza/200b ball joints to resolve

They are particularly necessary for very lowered Datsun 1200.

read into roll centre adjusters or roll centre on the tech wiki or even find some roll centre adjusters to get an idea what im talking about
