Yeah for the Crank drive I went with a steel keyed hub. A complete 7075 drive pulley would have been fine too but it was less on the $$ to make a steel/6061 combo.

Stacking the gear rings was an idea after seeing some people weld V belt pulleys together.

Looks great, so that's a steel insert within the alloy? The stacking idea is a great feature.

I will post up a rendering of the drive pulley for my kit soon.

Specs so far. Im going HTD Belt for better meshing. Keeping the pulleys close to the 25.4mm width, and will engineer these pulleys so they can stack for a Supercharger pulley.

Belt: 800MM-8M-22MM

Pulley:115.189 Root Diameter 122.089mm Outer Diameter

I have spoken with john the crank pulley is the same he is just lightening the new crank pulleys and in such not really strengthening them in doing so as he is putting in holes like the original crank pulley for A-Series single v-belt so it looks better is lighter and in a way will make it abit stronger

He will have sets in soon.

Im putting my gasket kit and new oil seal on my timing cover today and will put the engine back in the car and show it running in a video over the next day or so

I dont think so, he was in a bit of a rush on the phone but he said some people are putting blowers on and they require more tension on the belt so he was strengthening it as a result.

Does this mean the first pulley that was made is weak?

Fellas, I gave the guy form KE Motorsport a call last Friday, he said he was out of stock but is making up a new kit, this one will be slightly different as it will have a stronger crank pulley.

He said they would be ready in about 2 weeks but to just keep an eye on the website, he'll put it up there when they are in.

Edit: spelling
