hi i am considering doing a draw through turbo setup using a wrx td04l and was wandering if everyone who has a draw through setup has used carbon seals.

if not did the turbo burn oil at high vacuum?

I ran a primary turbo off a twin turbo subaru that wasn't carbon seal. The seals let go after about a month of driving.
I then went to a carbon sealed Garret T2 off a E15 Pulsar (i think they were carbon sealed from factory but can't quite remember)

Carbon seal. Must.

I found this guys explanation convincing enough to do it. There is a lot of other info out there.
