So I figured I would share my handling updates:

I adjusted the Koni Classic Ds half a turn stiffer. Reconfigured the rear sway bar end links to ensure the do not fouls the chassis rails. The rear spring shackles are rather long and uses the lowest of the 3 holes, so I put a sleeve in the middle hole to brace things up.
On a separate issue I felt like the front end flopped over (noticed at autocross) so I went one position stiffer on the front bar.

So of 4 laps I got (more on that in a minute) in I was able to confirm that the hula as demonstrated in the video is all but gone. The car still moves around a little but that is likely the Avon bias ply tires (was on Hoosier bias ply). In the two slow speed corners I have a touch of understeering likely down to,the front bar adjustment but I will need a few more laps, I think it may be possible to charge in deeper now so the car will likely balance out.
As for my short run, well the brand new tailshaft bushing fix failed and spewed gear oil all over the bottom of the car, luckily I was black flagged before all the lube in the box was gone.
I took the tailshaft housing back off and over to my buddies shop, it's only the second time in 27 years something he's machined has not fixed a problem the first time. (The other failure was a case of his underestimating my abilty to abuse a car) Basically the bushing was press fit in with the specified interference fit but as the tranny heated up the bushing spun, oops, once that happened the seal walked out the back of the housing and the lube festival began.
Happily you can pull the tailshaft housing with the tranny in the car.........after the next event in November with an update on the handling.

I have found that when replacing tail shaft bushes in lots of Datsun's the rear bush out of an auto box is the go as often when searching the manual bush is NLA.
Auto Boxes are much easier to get the bushes for.
