Hey lads,
The 2014 IPRA Nationals are on this weekend (7,8,9 November) at Wakefield Park. There will be a couple of fast 1200 coupes competing - Simon from Vic and Shane from Qld - with a mid pack Sunny coupe trying to keep up
Free entry, so you can take the whole family!!!
There will be some fantastic racing in both under 2 litre and over 2 litre with support from SSCC running a supersprint so you can get a feel for the entry level as well. Well worth the drive south!
Cheers.

We have TV coverage for all rounds this year so look up blend line tv and you will get their you tube archives. Ch44 will have the last WP round showing tonight at either 8.30 or 9.00 (not sure). If you can't get Ch44, blend line will be live streaming it so you should be okay wherever you are.
Nationals will have big coverage and at least a 1 hour special go to air before Xmas.
Cheers.

Hi guys, the weekend has been run and won! Andrew Tendli in a Honda Civic won the Final. It was a great weekend! It took me a long time to get to know the track. had some brake and set up dramas on Friday and sat. Got it a bit better on Sunday. Finished 6th in the final. probably not too bad but not as good as i'd hoped. my best lap time for the weekend was 1.05.6. but couldn't do them when it counted.

Here is a vid of the top 10 shootout...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKgcSZ50CHc One 1200 coupe as well(Shane Satchwell).
Enjoy! I'll post a link to the race once its up.

Hey Simon,
Good to catch up and put a face to the name! Don't be too hard on yourself mate, 1:05.6 is bloody fast and even more impressive since it is your first time here - wow!
I survived the final and finished twelfth with an engine down 50hp due to an electrical gremlin. PB of 1:07.3 on Saturday turned into high nines for the rest of the weekend Front and rear of the Sunny were re arranged thanks to a lack of track management with the old girl sandwiched between two other cars!
Mark Alford's old Sunny sedan was there also which was great to see!
Last meeting for her was a tough one but she made it to the end!
Cheers.

hey thanks for the vid and the coupe sounds great.Listen those honda's rev and i think even a car like rick bone's is gonna have a hard time.I get the jap mag and the honda's in the UK are fast.In time attack the NA honda broke the fwd record and beat all the turbocharged fwd cars at Cadwell[1.39,353]heavily doctored motor that.anyway that datto looked and sounded great.
