i was able to buy some at my local hardware store earlier this year when i needed some.
theyre just a fine metric thread like m12 x 1.25 although i cant remember exactly.
take that one as a sample, shouldnt be hard to get

Ange, they are hard to get. That's why there is an advert here. I've missed the last ship for the year by a number of weeks now and though it was worth a shot asking on here.

Unfortunately, my location isn't exactly urban, more jungle.

If anyone is able to help please speak up, I understand some of you find this advert frustrating but quality hardware stores are few and far between in my next of the woods, ahem, jungle.

whats interesting is the pic of your original bolt, the head of it in particular
i havent seen one like that, i wonder why it might have been designed that way

Cut the nut off as I did,we have plenty of bolt shops in town and none could match it.Thats why I did it that way.
