I thought that the Micra was FWD, where is the fun in that??? If I was to rally a FWD it would be a Dihatsu Charade DeTamso version. I reckon they are pretty speccy cars, and they go like #### on a stick!

i rckon more people should rally the micra as a micra my dad had one and it was so small and zippy , i saw one rallying on tv once and my jaw hit the floor, i mean the motors not really a big performer. they must do a bit of work to em to get them to go, i guess the boost helps a bit on the turbo ones but without it id think an a-15 could do better with a bit of money spent than the n/a ones

They only remove the EFI for the N/A I think to save on the expence of having to get computer and all the other gear. I'd heard that a few rally 1200's had the conversion with side drafts.

I think the turbo keeps the EFI. I probaly should get off my lazy ass and give Marsh a call seeing as they have no web site to visit.

I'll try to find out a bit more about it.

they had supercharged micras in europe!, sorry probabl not the info youre after but im interested in the conversion too, could be fun, why toss the EFI though?

I wanted to know if anyone had seen or heard about this transplant. A friend told me that Marsh Motorsport in NZ where doing a conversion kit to fit them in a 1200 with a turbo.

I think they also had a kit for a N/A where they removed the EFI and put on twin side drafts, I was told that the engines are almost indestructable.

If anyone knows anything or has any info I would really appricate that.
