Hey,My a15 was giving problems to start so i took it down and replaced the solenoid,put it back up got it to start for about 3 times after that is wont start at all.All it does when i turn the key the starter motor runs but wont tumble the engine.Any pointers?

Common causes for this on all A-series engines:

* Slightly corroded battery leads
* Bad starter solenoid
* Ignition Switch starting to go bad

i changed the solenoid and all others are good,could it be brushes?

sounds like you need to remove the starter motor and check the spocket and ring gear on the flywheel. If the starter motor is running and the solenoid engaging then u have bigger problems. if the starter motor is not running then contacts and wiring is where I would start ... specifically start with trying direct power to the starter motor from the battery and then work back to the ignition.

Starter back up and running Reinstalled for the while brushes are low,The solenoid's spring is different so the old one is back in.
Thanks guys for the heads up!!!
will rebuild it next week then let u know how it goes
