Cheers guys. It will be Kermit on roids when it's done. So far it goes OK but I'm looking forward to getting the built engine in and running it on the 1/4 mile. Still will be a while off that though as I need to focus on getting it on the road!

Over the weekend I managed to get a few runs in. Front end has been better than I expected. For road use it is very well sorted, no unusual behavior, took it up to 100kmh runs on some country roads and it handled the bumps no problems. I had some issues with a small leak at the slave cylinder banjo fitting which was fixed with a little tightening. On the same run I managed to lose reverse! I can select rev but it jumps out and grinds after moving a short distance. Haven't investigated it much yet but possibly will be looking for a new gearbox soon or a good re-builder.

Although some bad news on the gearbox, I did have a nice delivery today... Time to get rid of the loaner eBay T28. (the smaller turbo in the pic is the original that was blown)

I haven't yet. They stop OK but I think that there is too much rear bias as it feels as though it's squatting under brakes rather than the front diving. I have got a proportioning valve that I will have installed at a brake joint once I get the gearbox sorted (was supposed to be last week but never got there), hopefully that will help. The brakes feel really woody too which I don't really like. I have a friend with a 1600 with the Maddat booster and front / rear brake setup he says it also has a woody feel, so maybe it's just the feedback that that booster gives through the pedal? I have suspicions that the bias has something to do with it though as the initial pedal feel is OK but once you get further into the pedal travel that's when it starts to feel less grabby.
