****decided to keep it****



ok so i might be crazy but im putting it out there...

if anyone is interested in a cams logbooked (3J improved production under 2ltr) and ready to race Datsun 1200 sedan
im considering parting with mine....

some pics/vids/info on the car

pm me for more info.... im just not getting enough use out of the car

Crazy but like we said the other day mate it's hard to justify having a race car if you only use it once or twice a year. Maybe build the other sedan into a club racer/streeter

some specs off the top of my head...

sr20de bottom end with sr20ve cylinder head
toyota 20v quad throttles, custom 4 into 1 exhaust
has big radiator with thermo fan and runs an engine oil cooler
Autronic SMC ECU tuned on 98 pump fuel makes 163hp @ wheels with air filters & extra muffler, 177hp without
Nismo solid centre clutch and lightened flywheel
s14 5 speed gearbox, custom tailshaft
toyota hilux rear axle with 4.88 kaaz 2 way lsd centre
coilovers up front with bilstein shocks & r32 gtr brakes (300mm vented discs, 4 piston calipers)
adjustable 22mm front sway bar, adjustable camber & castor
r31 disk brake rear, small adjustable rear sway bar
rear has independently adjustable (compression & rebound) shocks
twin brake master cylinders with balance bar for adjustable brake bias
15x7 wheels with 205/50 Yokohama A050 semi slicks
6 point roll cage (cams approved and logbooked)
6 point harnesses & cobra race seats
autometer gauges etc etc

in its current state laps winton in 1.40, sandown 1.30, calder park circuit in 1.09 and wakefield park in 1.11
and ran 13.5@101mph at heathcote park drags all with my amateur driving

its well sorted and lots of fun, has the potential to go much quicker in the right hands
ive done 60+ laps around winton in 39degree heat before in this car, no trouble at all

strap yourself in and go
