Great job that looks really really neat and nearly stock looking (mid 80s)
My brother in law has an old boxy charade with really nice original flares that I am thinking of grinding off to suit cause I will be going 13x8 starsharks. But it is nice to see it done this way and gives me a second option if it's too hard with charade ones. great stuff thumbs up =)

L18_b110 - Well spotted on the tyres - have a mate who pulls out some great stuff out of hibernation.
Flatto - Will get the front wheels done before I do some full car shots - end of the week unfamilia - I'm not good at explaining details but if theres any thing specific about the process ? Cheers For the comments

Looks good. I'd like more of a write up on how you did it.

Looks great. Could we get a couple more shots of the flares with the whole car in it for context? ...or just so I can have a good drool ;)

Fully sick cause I was able to drop it another 30 mm and no rubbing , shaved the bump stops so I still get 50mm of travel with no rubbing
Paint match is not great so the whole side will have be redone once the front guards are flared.

Used the least amount possible sanding back the fibre fill until I hit metal each time. With the 3mm round bar welded to the lip they're strong so i'm confident about there survival. Would love to be able to do it like they do on the TV car resto shows but i'm no coach builder - yet ![]()

that's come up really well. good work!
alot more subtle than bolt-ons and gives it a nice smooth look. Can't wait to see it all done and sitting on the new wheels

Looks fantastic, you did a great job!
Were you able to do most of the work with the steel or is there a decent amount of bog under there after it was blocked back? You can view topic.
