Is a B120 , the shaft from the coupe it fits and bolts on but is to short

Hmm .

Maybe they swapped more parts because a coupe tailshaft should be longer.
* Coupe/sedan: 1138 mm (u-joint to u-joint)

Is your ute a B120 or a GB120 as listed on the aluminum plate in engine bay?

Wait, you have a ute?

Any ute driveshaft will work, 1971-1994. It can't be from a coupe or sedan as those use a smaller diff flange. Possibly a 1975-1978 B210 shaft may work but only from a 4-speed B210. Possible a 1979-1982 Datsun 210 4/5-spd car. They have the right flange, but the length may or may not be right.

Long story short , I have a 71 Datsun UTE somebody did a swap from manual to Auto, now I want to swap it back to manual , i got a driveshaft from a manual coupe but it looks to short be cause it leaks gear oil from the back of the transmission, does the ute have a different driveshaft? Also if it is different which US model have a similar set up?
