Differential question

So I'm swapping the trans on my ute , but find out the differential has been replace , I have a spare 1200 sedan but the one in the truck is slighter bigger but is not bigger enough to be the stock for the ute , the driveshaft from the sedan bolts right on , where I can find ID tags to see out of what car the differential is out from ?

Datsun differentials do not have ID tags.
1975-1978 B210 diff is slightly bigger (H150) than 1200 diff (H145) and the 1200 sedan driveshaft will fit EXCEPT it won't bolt to the diff flange. 1200 H145: square flange, small axle tubes B210 H145: square flange, large axle tubes B210 H150: rectangular flange, large axle tubes
