I think Leigh would be up for another A12 dyno shootout now! Might be fun to drive it around NA for a while. See what sort of mileage it can get.

The turbo will probably be a few weeks away

28.9 KW to the wheel. I really hadn't thought much about what is put to the road on these motors until now lol. The stock factory carburetor engine is rated 48Kw at the engine?

Do you have more dyno charts showing the RPM of the engine? Where the peak power production is at?

That's a very impressive gain from such a basic EFI setup! That would certainly be noticeable on the road and make these things much nicer to drive. Worth doing this by itself for anyone who wants to keep the stock look and get better driveability, and probably economy.
Good work Simon!

Cheers Harry, I've really enjoyed building this so far. Just a bit of fun, without pressure or expectation.

There is a few different graphs. Some of the others show air fuel ratio, but my wideband sensor is old and kept dropping out during the runs. I've ordered a new one.

Tuned it with the fuel pressure reg referenced to the manifold vac. With the large injector, the fuel table is almost flat (same inj pulse widths everywhere)! Normally the FPR wouldn't be referenced to vac for NA, but thought it would get me a start on the turbo tune once the turbo goes on..

It should really be retuned with the vac line off the FPR. Then others that want an NA tune file have the right thing.

Should I put up a couple of clips of it running? Its also interesting to see the injector firing under the throttle plate when its opened.

Matt, just multiply the dyno rpm(bottom axis on graph) x 3.9 to get engine RPM.

Here is a Youtube clip...Just a bit of a walk around w basic descriptions of parts.
I'm still waiting for the new wideband sensor to be able to finish the cruise mixtures.

Not much would change if you want to do it on the L series. Same dizzy mod, injector and rail, ECU and wiring and ign.. You might want to use a larger TB tho.
