Results are finally in!!!
Sorry about the delay, It had a couple of gremlins that took a while to sort out. I ended up using unleaded petrol, as I thought that's what most people would run in a road going car. So... Stock A12 long motor, original intake manifold with single injector, single turbo from a TTR32 skyline, microsquirt ecu. 12 Psi, non intercooled, 98 RON unleaded and 12 Psi boost( the most this turbo will handle if it had the ceramic turbine wheel). 133 Nm at 5400 RPM 80.7 Kw at 6100 RPM Over 120Nm from 4500 to 6400 Rpm Edit, I'll do another run tomorrow at 15 Psi. Then maybe switch to E85.

probably halve the cost of an 80kw NA A series
yet extra torque where it matters and economy congrats on another methodically fine build!

Some of the part builders on this site need to start throwing performance parts at you. I would love to see the combos of things that maximize the output of these 1200 engines.

Why dont you do a run with a intercooler? most cars get an extra 30HP depending the size of the motor of course. on something like this would get another 10-20HP?

Yeah, An intercooler would help heaps, especially when the boost is wound up a bit more.
Was keen to see what the results would be in its most basic form and with the least modifications. I'd also love to see how far I can push this basic setup. Be good to hide some of it under the standard air cleaner assembly as well. I do have to balance this with working on customers cars and other projects. See how I go for time. Does anyone know where these engines usually valve float?

Not speaking from experience but a customer claimed he starts to float the valves around 8500RPM
