Got a kit for non-turbo efi? I'd be keen. Had a gutful of carby daily driving the mustard coupe. A15 motor.

Re the clutch, I'm going to try to put two SH diaphragms into one SH pressure plate. All in the name of keeping it cheap. It should have nearly twice the clamping pressure. It may not be possible, but ill have a go at it.

Simon after seeing your results I am going to put the 15-lbs pressure wheel back on my Novi-Super charger. Rebuild the little A12 with some ARP studs, and a mild port on the head.
If one was inclined to get a better cam, what might you suggest outside your $1200.00 budget for a later expense?

133kws and 213nm of torque thats more than any full nismo tomei race setup A12 for a 10th of the price, totally nuts. Now that its on soft suspension setup with drums any change of a quarter mile run? :) only kidding

Now that sounds like a lot of fun. I'm pretty much flat out at the moment though so I'd just about have to take time off work to do it. Let me think about if I can make it happen.

Hi guys new to forum
Simon very impressed with what you have been doing, I'm also interested in a injection kit. Also do you have any of the super charger kits?

A run down the 1/4 could be interesting. I'm not sure how the gearbox would hold up. Might do a 13 on the stock 12" tires.
Sleepa, I have never played with super chargers on these engines. I can supply some bits to people who want to build there own. But don't really want to supply full kits with ecu, turbo, wiring etc. it just takes too long to build looms, turbo manifolds and driving around to source parts etc. The $1200. Figure is what it would cost for materials only(you finding them yourself) The idea is for people to build their own. If I was to do everything you could more than double that figure unfortunately.

Datsuns are for dyi if possible this is an excellent guide and results
prove what is possible if you are willing and learn yourself. Its a real pity no one has cast a turbo mani for the A series like the one Sykine has done here but thicker walled of course. A 1/4 mile run would lunch either box, diff or both :( would be fun on a trailer for an outing, lil 12 rubber drawing 11s with a locker :) If your not too worried about the tunnel that T-5 5 speed might be worth considering with an auto bell and I can still source a H190 lsds for a shortened H190 from a variety of cars which you can cut and shut with your ability. The curve from that sucker will be alot of fun.

Standard diff should be fine with a turbo A series. That's all I have in the circuit car and do 7000rpm launches every race start, albeit with a touch of deliberate clutch slip.
