Yep what Im saying is that the steering box is the real issue as most single carb or single sidey setups are no issue with brake master cyl, even under the dash units would solve this issue for Napoleon road sided US cars. Then the other possible help for a tad more space would be a steering rack setup.

Sorry guys, I've had a bit of other stuff to do.

I'll put up the Injector/fuel rail bits on the build thread today.

I've just added the next instalment to the build thread.

There was lots of ways to do the injector/FPR mount. Using a block of alloy might have been a bit neater and soldering would not have to be done, But it would have been more drilling a tapping. Is what I've shown not too hard?

If someone has an easier way, let us know..

I recommend people not use the standard air filter assembly. There are a few reasons for this but mainly to keep it simple. The standard filter setup would be perfect if you wanted the standard look and didn't want to turbocharge it. It gets a bit more complicated if you want to turbo it but keep it for looks.. Even harder if you also want to use the standard assembly for filtering the air pre turbo!

I actually like the clean look of your alt fuel reg mounting
could it be used with by strengthened on red areas marked?
or does it have other issues...

I think the methods you have shown for mounting the reg etc are very simple.
Great use of the PCV valve for the injector also.

Loving this thread!!!!

That would work well too D. Maybe the standard filter bracket could be bent back over to form the bit you have shown in red.

Hi simon. Is the angle of the injector crucial in this type of set up? how would mega squirt go firing 2 or 4 of them?

Thinking about either bike carb manifold or a twin su manifold set up like this.

I like the stock air cleaner option but seeing boost Is being added won't really matter for stock looks.

How many stock carb hats I've seen with no bracket too.

I wouldn't be to concerned.. When the Air filter assembly is fitted and mounted on the Throttle body back to the bracket, the "Triangle" creating the bracing strength will be there.

Just spent 10mins making this option. Faster than both the others..

You would need some long 6mm bolts or allthread to hold it together. It is just a couple of bits of stainless tube. This way, no tapping or welding is required and would save mucking around trying to get bends right in the 3 mm steel strip.
